In 1997 I took a peyote class with the talented Baltimore bead artist Joyce Scott. I was devestated when I discovered that we were learning
techniques that I already knew. About halfway through the class I spied a bag containing Joyce's
odds and ends. I was in heaven. My sculptural vessels are the result of this experience.
